About me
I’m Serhii Dubenko, an independent SEO specialist based in Austria. I work across technical SEO, search strategy, website architecture and digital marketing.

GetDevDone
I started working in SEO in 2005, after an academic and teaching background in English language and literature. Over time, search work naturally expanded into technical SEO, analytics, website architecture, project management and coordination between marketing and development teams.
I spent more than a decade across several roles with TemplateMonster – from SEO/SEM and project management to consulting, analysis and eventually leading the SEO department from 2014 to 2020.
Since 2020, I’ve worked with GetDevDone as an independent SEO specialist, alongside other client and project work. My focus there has increasingly shifted toward technical SEO, search performance, website structure and implementation.
Most of my professional work has involved English-language websites, international markets and distributed teams. That has shaped how I work: clear written communication, documented priorities, practical requirements for developers, and close coordination between SEO, content, design and development.
After more than 20 years in search, I’m less interested in SEO as a collection of tactics than in understanding why a website performs the way it does – and what changes are actually worth making.

Technical SEO
Crawling, indexing, internal linking, site architecture, migrations and technical implementation.
Search analysis
Google Search Console, GA4, ranking changes, traffic drops, query/page analysis and identifying what is actually driving a change.
Website architecture
Page structure, information architecture, consolidation, internal linking and making SEO part of website planning rather than an afterthought.
Implementation
WordPress work, requirements for developers, QA and coordination between SEO, content and development.
Need practical SEO input, not another generic audit?
I focus on problems that require analysis, prioritization and coordination with the people actually changing the site.
